Full-Time Bookkeeper / Accountant
Auburn, AL
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our growing environmental services company. This is a full-time position for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting knowledge, organizational skills, and experience managing day-to-day financial operations.
Salary: Starting at $55,000+ per year , based on experience
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Payroll processing
• Monthly and end-of-month invoicing
• Collections and follow-up on past-due accounts
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Financial reporting
• Tax filings and payments
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with other accounting and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Must be able to pass a background check
