Xylem is looking for a Wastewater Treatment Technician to report to our Wilsonville, AL location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area. **What your day will look like as a** **Wastewater Treatment Technician​** The Wastewater Treatment Technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment equipment on-site in Wilsonville. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but people with prior wastewater operations experience are especially encouraged. If you believe that we would be the right fit for you, please apply today. **Position Requirements for** **Wastewater Treatment Technician​s** + HS diploma or equivalent + 2-5 years technical experience wastewater or commercial process water experience, or equivalent experience working with other industrial and commercial equipment and their mechanical and electrical components + Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices + Ability to work in a high customer facing position + Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns + Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check + A valid driver's license with a clean driving record TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more daily travel The estimated salary range for this position is $25.30 to $30/hr.  Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement. \#LI-AD1 Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
