You wrap up by documenting your work, tidying the area, and answering the homeowner’s questions so they feel confident and comfortable. What You’ll Do- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and related components with accuracy and care.
- Diagnose performance issues and resolve faults to restore optimal operation.
- Complete routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
- Deliver clear, friendly service—listen to concerns, explain options, and set expectations.
- Document work performed, parts used, and observations with thorough, accurate records.
- Stay current on evolving HVAC technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace on every job.
- Valid HVAC certification and required state/local licenses.
- Hands-on experience as an HVAC technician or equivalent field role.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and components.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Keen diagnostic mindset, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Professional communication skills and a service-first attitude.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively as needs shift.
- Physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely.
