We are seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our sheet metal manufacturing facility in Decatur, AL. This position is responsible for maintaining the building, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of manufacturing or maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid work history.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday )

• Perform routine building and facility maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect facility equipment and identify repair needs.
• Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and other building components.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding maintenance priorities.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
• Assist with facility improvements and special projects as needed.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or maintenance experience required
• Experience with general facility maintenance
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Good employment history required
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
