Position Title: Distribution Operations Manager
Location: Opelika, Alabama Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

We are looking for a strategic Operations Manager to lead our distribution center’s order processing and logistics teams. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on efficiency, cost-savings, and team excellence.
The Role at a Glance: You will lead and direct all warehouse management aspects, including inbound freight, receiving, putaway, picking, and shipping. You are responsible for identifying operational efficiencies and developing action plans to minimize costs while maintaining peak performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Direct all warehouse activities to ensure accurate and timely shipments to all business customers.
- Financial Integrity: Maintain inventory accuracy at the case and location level to ensure complete fulfillment of orders.
- Leadership & Innovation: Implement system enhancements and train staff on new procedures, MIS, and warehouse systems.
- Performance Monitoring: Review 90-day volume projections and warehouse issues to ensure corporate and regulatory goals are met.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain a safe environment and ensure conformance with all work rules, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Requires at least 3 years of proven distribution center experience or equivalent.
- Education: College degree preferred but not required (can be offset by additional years of experience).
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Office (Excel expertise required) and knowledgeable in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Cursory knowledge of OSHA and DOT/ICC regulations relative to a warehousing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or work on the warehouse floor for full shifts as required.
