Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and experience with Property Management Software. As a Jr Property Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general ledger reconciliation for multiple properties

- Manage accounts payable and account analysis

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

- Prepare financial statements and reports for property portfolios

- Utilize financial acumen to interpret and analyze financial data

- Conduct double-entry bookkeeping to ensure accuracy of financial transactions

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in property management

- Strong knowledge of Quicken and other accounting software

- Ability to perform detailed financial statement preparation

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience with general ledger reconciliation for real estate properties

- Proficiency in accounts payable processes within property accounting
