Production Associate Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Associate Forklift Operator to join their team. As a vital part of the manufacturing operations, you will support the production process by handling materials efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Decatur, AL

Pay Range: $19.00/hour

Shift: ABCD Rotating 12 hour shift

What's the Job?

• Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials within the facility.
• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), such as forklifts, to transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Support production operations by assisting with material flow and staging equipment.
• Work at heights and lift items weighing 30 lbs or more as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license for PIV operation.
• Forklift/PIV certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Capability to lift 30+ lbs and work in environments with potential chemical exposure.
