We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee supply chain operations and drive efficiency within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This long-term contract position is based in Woodstock, Alabama, and offers an opportunity to lead and optimize logistics processes while fostering collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in logistics management and a strategic mindset to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage logistics teams to ensure efficient operations and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, transportation, and distribution activities.

• Oversee logistics projects, ensuring timely execution within defined budgets and scope.

• Collaborate with planning and logistical staff to improve quality systems and enhance customer delivery standards.

• Utilize logistics management software and systems to monitor and plan activities effectively.

• Analyze data to identify trends, solve complex logistics challenges, and drive continuous improvements.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across all logistics operations.

• Manage inventory control processes to maintain accuracy and streamline warehouse operations.

• Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior management.

• Train and mentor team members to develop their skills and foster growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain operations, with at least two years in a senior-level role.

• Must have previous automotive manufacturing experience and strong SAP knowledge

• Proven expertise in logistics principles, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-informed decisions.

• Solid project management experience, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute initiatives successfully.

• Highly customer-oriented, with a track record of delivering quality service and solutions.
