Deaf/Hard of hearing Special Ed Teacher- Montgomery, AL

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our staff and work in an amazing school! Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialists Qualifications:

• Specialized Education : A degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, with a focus on teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

• Teaching License : A valid Texas teaching license with an endorsement in Deaf Education or Special Education.
• Sign Language Proficiency : Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods used by deaf students.
• Knowledge of Assistive Technology : Familiarity with devices like cochlear implants, hearing aids, and other tools to support students' learning.
