**Job Title:**
Accountant - Leasing

**Key Job Elements:**
- Manage daily and monthly accounting activities of leasing business including monthly lease invoices, accounts payable and tax reporting
- Reconcile and ensure accuracy of balance sheet accounts; maintain detail supporting schedules
- Complete month end close process, including journal entries, SOX reports and account reconciliations
- Review accounting processes for accuracy and potential for improvement
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial forecasts and budgets
- Prepare management summaries and lease testing for new lease opportunities
- Prepare requested documents for Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to finance and human resources
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- 3 to 5 years accounting experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- ERP LN software or other accounting systems knowledge a plus
- Strong analytical skills and general knowledge of accounting principles
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated / Detail-oriented / sense of urgency / follow-through
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and work effectively in varying environments
Essential and Physical Activities Functions:
- Strength-Position typically involves work in a standard office environment. Occasional standing and walking. Heavy lifting is rare but may be required;
- Motion-Position regularly requires standard repetitive motions and hand/eye coordination associated with office communications. May require bending, lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. in cases where Safety investigations require them;
- Vision/Hearing Requirements-Constant verbal communications, including both talking and hearing;
- Work Environment-Position may involve occasional work in a non-temperature-controlled facility. Position will require occasional visits to industrial environment, including potential for noise (85+decibels), frequent exposure to cold and temperature changes, exposure to hazardous materials, heavy equipment, high levels of dust, and other hazardous work environments to investigate and mitigate accidents/incidents;
- Emotional Demands-Responsible for audits and reporting. Requires interpersonal skills and communication;
- Safety-Position required to follow all safety guidelines and requirements.
