Bookkeeper
Scope:
Responsible for the coordination and operation of Bookkeeping role for Alabama Oncology. Works closely with Senior Accountant and Accounting Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record Financial Transactions
- Payroll Processing
- Enter deposits into accounting software and reconcile with billing system
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with audits
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Bank Reconciliations between bank records and internal records to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Compliance and audits with financial regulations
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a Bookkeeping preferred.
- Knowledge of organization policies and procedures.
- Paycom experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of bookkeping principles and practices
- Aattention to detail
- Knowledge of computer systems and Applications
