Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting a local educational community as a long-term substitute during a maternity leave for the upcoming school semester. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for students and staff, working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
As a BCBA in this role, you'll join a collaborative school-based environment and be instrumental in providing support and guidance tailored to the needs of both students and faculty. Your skill and dedication will help maintain continuity of care and ensure that high standards are upheld throughout the semester.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop intervention plans
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide coaching and support to school staff and educators
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform programming decisions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
- Ensure all interventions are compliant with best practices and ethical guidelines
