Job Title: Machine Mechanic
Location: Montgomery, AL

Shift: Day shift
Pay Range: $14-$16/hour

Position Overview:
We are hiring a skilled and dependable Machine Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on production and warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and must be able to provide their own tools. If you're mechanically inclined and ready to keep machines running smoothly, this is the job for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial machines and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine repair methods
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools
• Replace or repair worn or defective machine parts
• Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used
• Work closely with production staff to minimize downtime
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Must provide your own tools
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, overhead)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
