Salary: $18-$20
Larkin Industries, Inc., located in Pelham, AL, is seeking a skilled and detail-orientedLaser Welderto join our high-performance manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser welding equipment to fabricate precision metal components while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate laser welding machines and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Align and weld components to precise specifications.
- Perform quality inspections and ensure all welds meet internal standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training preferred.
- 13 years of experience in laser welding or precision welding.
- Proficiency using measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of specific laser welding systems (brand/model experience a plus).
