Logistic and Procurement Coordinator

As a Logistic and Procurement Coordinator, the individual will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient logistic of material throughout our operation. You will support the management team and employees through a variety of tasks related to logistic, procurement and administration. You will communicate via phone and email ensuring that all your tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Essential Functions

- Manages general procurement request and find adequate source of supply
- Manages Logistic needs by organizing transport and parts reception.
- Expedite parts orders to ensure delivery against target
- Manage backorders and follow up on their status
- Assists in stock taking tasks to guide service team on consumption of spare parts
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders,
- Negotiates commercial conditions with suppliers,
- Negotiates consumable supplies with certified suppliers,
- Performs good receipts of products purchased,
- Manage reception disputes and warranty claims,
- Deal with disputes related to billing of suppliers,
- Gathers the information and prepares the monthly activity progress report,
- Schedule meetings and generates the Minutes of Meeting,
- Select and evaluate suppliers
- During sub-contracting activity, ensures that supplier timesheets are reconciled against relevant work orders
- Initiate, in conjunction with the Quality & EHS Manager, enhanced surveillance of a supplier
- Ensures support to the QHSE Manager during relevant audits (Internal, ISO, etc.)
- Identifies opportunities to improve office processes, develop and implement new policies, and ensure efficient operations.
- Create, maintain, and organize physical and digital files, databases, and other records.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to loud noise from the workshop,

Position Type /Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 07:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Employee should be also available for overtime based on workload.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience,
- Demonstrates ability to successfully function in a reactive environment, excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work,
- Displays a clear and precise understanding of projects /contracts, tasks, difficulties, and time involved in a given assignment,
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP /SAP experience would be an asset,
- Must be motivated and possess excellent interaction skills,
- Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
