Raytheon's Life Cycle Engineering & Test Capabilities is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer who will support Radar test activities in Huntsville AL in support of radar analysis and ground and flight test activities. You will be responsible for engineering activities, including testing to support radar development events, radar analysis, development of verification strategies for advanced radar capabilities and software builds, and the execution of the strategies within a HWIL or other simulation environment. You will work independently and side-by-side engineering team members and occasionally perform local and non-local travel to Raytheon and government facilities. **What You Will Do:** + Participate in analysis activities and products with group leaders, senior management, and government personnel + Document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to internal and external stakeholders. + Interact with multiple US government property sites PIEE & WAWF for registration, status reporting and custody of Government Property. + Lead the use and understanding of the ALCS (Automated Logistics Control System) transactions, reporting capabilities, attachment of proper supporting documents and interaction with technical support team + Manage Government Furnished Material as a subject matter expert, planning annual inventory activities with Lead custodians from 4 separate facilities (Huntsville, Al, Andover, Ma, Tewksbury, Ma and White Sands Missile Range, NM. Reporting results to Program Management including material that may require transfer to other facilities, reporting lost material and material for disposition to Property Administration. + Administer a configuration and asset management database (ALCS) of 600+ items on government programs, ensuring 100% traceability and successful outcomes on compliance audits. + Participate in technical meetings covering project management, budgeting, and financial planning, providing analysis to support decision-making. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically Requires: Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. + Experience in program planning, budgeting, and /or tracking (EVMS) + Experience with logistics support, inventory systems (ALCS) , government property management and/or manufacturing. + Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Demonstrated experience in property management or related tasks supporting Patriot Production Programs or Patriot Support Programs (AMDC or Patriot ESM) or other Defense System Contractors. + Strong Data Management skills with Microsoft Office, material planning and inventory system (i.e. PRISM or equivalent systems). + Experience interfacing with internal or external customers, providing technical solutions to user requirements, analyzing radar data, and generating and maintaining technical documentation and work instructions. + Experience with proposals, cost and schedule execution for continuous life cycle support of defense programs. + Understanding of logistics, parts risk management, obsolescence and government property management. + Strong individual integration skills, team interaction skills, and willingness to perform local and non-local travel. **What We Offer** **:** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
