Cybersecurity Analyst - Intermediate
- Applies knowledge of Cyber policy, procedures, and workforce structure to develop, implement, and maintain a cyber-secure environment.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish enclave security related goals.
- Reports to IAM III or government managers for enclave operational requirements.
- Leads cyber management and operations for enclave(s)/systems/sites.
- There are no supervisory responsibilities, but the employee may coach and mentor other IAM and IAT personnel of equal or lower-level certification
- Some travel is expected for this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s in STEM/Program Management/Cyber-related field or equivalent from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of cyber management experience.
- Acceptable alternative: Bachelor’s degree in other than STEM/Cyber-related field with 7 years DoD cyber experience and knowledge demonstrated in cyber and missile defense related or other complex, large DoD Programs/Projects.
- Acceptable alternative: Associate degree in STEM/Cyber-related field w/10 years DoD cyber experience and knowledge demonstrated in cyber and missile defense related or other complex, large DoD Programs/Projects.
- Candidates must hold an Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II Certification prior to accepting position – no exceptions.
- Acceptable certifications include: CAP, CASP+, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, and/or HCISPP
- Possess or obtain within 90 days of hire an eMASS Certification.
- An Active Secret Clearance with the eligibility for a Top Secret Clearance is required.
- Experience working with ACAS and eMASS tools for RMF compliance and validation.
- Demonstrated experience managing RMF compliance for multiple systems under NIST SP 800-series regulations, policies, instructions, and standards.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
- Demonstrated experience leading or instructing a team of cybersecurity personnel to provide RMF compliance management for U.S. Government systems, applications, and/or networks.
- Direct experience supporting one or more components of the Aegis BMDS, especially communications, tracking, and C&D systems.
