Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide essential services within a school setting. This part-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of 50 students during the academic year.
Position Details:
- Location: Headland, Alabama
- Contract Type: Contract to Hire
- Duration: July 31, 2026 May 27, 2027
- Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days per week
- Caseload: Approximately 50 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) necessary
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work independently
