Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in a small, supportive school district in Lanett, AL. This onsite contract role spans the upcoming school year, offering the opportunity to work across three nearby school locations within a close-knit community of fewer than 1,000 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Deliver both direct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse communication needs.
- Manage case documentation and collaborate with educational staff to support student progress.
- Address a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders within the student population.
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support compliance with state and federal regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders.
- Valid Alabama SLP license and Teaching Certification for speech-language pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
- Recent graduates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work full-time, five days per week

- Schools located within 3 miles of each other, facilitating easy travel between sites.
- Serving surrounding areas including Auburn, Opelika, and Lanett.
This opportunity allows two part-time arrangements and consideration of out-of-state licensed applicants who obtain the appropriate Alabama certification. The role requires a commitment to supporting students across multiple settings in a collaborative educational environment.
