What You'll Do
- Lead all accounting and finance functions for the facility, serving as the primary financial partner to executive and operational leadership
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely analysis
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis while providing actionable recommendations to improve profitability
- Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation, labor and material variances, and manufacturing performance metrics
- Develop financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving initiatives, improve efficiencies, and support capital investment decisions
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance while supporting audits and regulatory reporting
- Supervise and develop one accounting team member while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or other operational accounting experience
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost accounting
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
- Previous Controller experience or readiness to step into a Controller role is a plus
