A financially strong, privately owned wholesaler of building supplies, has an immediate opening for an executive level General Manager for our Mobile, AL branch . With sales volume on the rise, we need a leader with a proven track record of exceptional customer service, sales skills, team building and training abilities. The General Manager position has a wide range of responsibilities including team and sales management with a focus on building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities Include:

• Sales Management of outside and insides sales
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with and understanding their needs
• Responsible for sales, margin, and growth
• Personnel Management, including recruiting, training, and coaching staff
• Operations Management of facility and staff including full P&L responsibility with adherence to policies and procedures

Keys to Success in this Manager Position:

• Sustained track record of strategy development and execution
• Proven breadth of general management ability in sales and marketing and operations
• Skilled in people development and work culture enhancement
• Hands-on experience in managing multiple business challenges

• Measurements oriented and data-driven approach to decisions
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
