Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Project Engineer Intern\. In this role, you will focus on supporting the project engineering team and the manufacturing team\. This position will cross boundaries between program and the manufacturing site, to ensure the successful manufacturing on NGI\. This position will also interact with the electrical and mechanical support equipment teams **Basic Qualifications:** - Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar discipline\. - Ability to develop and execute project plans - Ability to develop and present power point presentations - Ability to travel to travel one day a week to our manufacturing site - Enjoys problem solving and developing solutions that take into account schedule and cost **Desired Skills:** - Ability to obtain secret clearance - Interested in manufacturing or have manufacturing experience **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
