Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst serving as a long-term substitute during a maternity leave for the first semester of the school year. This contract role involves partnering with dedicated educators and support staff to create positive educational outcomes for students. Located near Eclectic, AL, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a consistent Monday through Friday schedule at 35 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably as a BCBA
- Ability to create, implement, and assess behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Capability to support teachers and staff with training and consultation
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and the school community
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the acting BCBA during the maternity leave period
- Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized behavior plans
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Conduct functional behavior assessments as needed
- Provide support and coaching to school staff on evidence-based interventions
- Document progress and maintain detailed records for compliance and reporting
