As a **Security Officer - Aero Facility Patrol** in **Huntsville, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the aerospace and defense location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual circumstances.
+ Document and communicate observations, incidents, and/or issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives as required by site procedures.
+ Support access control measures by verifying credentials and assisting visitors and employees as needed.
+ Remain alert to surroundings and maintain a visible presence throughout assigned patrol routes within the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
