Inspire the next generation of learners as a Secondary Math Teacher in a dynamic and supportive educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a learning environment that supports academic growth and personal development.
- Establish meaningful and respectful relationships with students to nurture a positive and productive classroom culture.
- Encourage students to reach their full potential by cultivating essential skills, attitudes, and knowledge for academic achievement.
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and readiness for 21st-century learning opportunities.
- Support a collaborative atmosphere by working closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- Engage with students, parents, volunteers, and visitors to foster a welcoming school environment.
- Collaborate on school initiatives and support overall student achievement.
- Perform additional duties as directed by administrative leadership.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Alabama Teacher Certification.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Have an appropriate Mathematics endorsement.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and classroom management abilities.
- Proven ability to create engaging and effective math instruction tailored to secondary learners.
