- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Adapt lesson plans to promote learning and engagement for all students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure cohesive support
- Monitor and document student progress, updating goals and instructional methods as needed
- Communicate regularly with families to celebrate successes and address concerns
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
