Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to serve a K-12 caseload in a school setting located in Mobile, AL. This position is a full school year contract, ideal for candidates seeking to provide comprehensive speech and language services across a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings
- Complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress acceptable
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and healthcare principles related to speech therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
