**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to unload and load boxes in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. You will spend the majority of your time sitting on the forklift, ensuring efficient material handling without manually lifting anything. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit-down forklifts to efficiently load and unload boxes. + Maintain safety standards while operating forklifts in a bustling environment. + Pay close attention to surroundings due to numerous forklifts in operation. + Work predominantly on the forklift, with approximately 90% of time spent operating it. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience with sit-down forklifts. + Ability to adhere to safety standards and protocols. + Familiarity with inventory and material handling procedures. **Why Work Here?** Experience a strong company culture with regular updates in every break room. Following successful completion of the forklift test, they will tour the facility on Tuesday and begin working on their sit-down forklift by Wednesday. The position involves working on the second shift from 7:00 PM to 3:45 AM in a dynamic automotive environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.90 - $20.90/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
