About the Role:
This role provides on site support to the project team. The Field APM maintains on site drawings sets, manages RFIs, submittals, coordination meetings and more, while managing the project office on site.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient use of software, to include but not limited to: MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF editors (Foxit, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam)
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to take direction.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, as well as manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Procore.
- Ability to read plans and specifications.
- Previous commercial construction experience
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up to date, accurate project records.
- Manage project documents (submittals, RFIs, etc) in support of the project manager.
- Coordinate resources, materials and other logistic activities
- Track various data points as required.
- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Skills:
The required skills for this role include strong organizational abilities, which are essential for managing multiple tasks and ensuring that project timelines are met. Effective communication skills are crucial, as the Field Assistant will need to relay information clearly among team members and stakeholders. Problem-solving skills will be utilized daily to address any challenges that arise on-site, ensuring that projects remain on track. Additionally, familiarity with construction safety regulations is important to maintain a safe working environment. Preferred skills, such as proficiency in construction management software, will enhance the efficiency of project tracking and reporting.
