Job Overview:
The Software Engineer III will oversee application development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This role involves monitoring system applications, ensuring smooth operation, and creating reports and documentation to outline findings and solutions. The position is part of the Technology department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
• Install and configure systems and other software.
• Test installed software for malfunction detection.
• Identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing applications, software, and operating systems.
• Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
• Monitor and test system performance.
• Take full ownership of processes and act as a procedural expert.
• Lead the work of junior-level associates as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in a related role.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve common objectives.
• Proficiency in conducting system analysis to detect performance issues.
• Capability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and their integration.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with MuleSoft Ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow, CMDB, and API management.
• Experience managing and monitoring MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) and Flex API gateway clusters deployed on Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Proficiency in API Gateway implementation and migration activities.
• Production support and troubleshooting experience using AnyPoint Monitoring, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift cluster administration.
• Good understanding of Open API specifications, RAML, and Swagger.
• Familiarity with API contracts and API governance.

Pay Range: $70 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
