RN Shift Supervisor (Charge Nurse Leader)

As our RN Shift Supervisor , you’ll lead the clinical team, ensure exceptional resident care, and keep operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role for a nurse who knows how to make decisions, support their team, and drive accountability.

What You’ll Own

  1. Lead and oversee all nursing operations during your shift
  2. Ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
  3. Serve as the go-to clinical leader for nurses, CNAs, and support staff
  4. Make real-time decisions to solve problems and keep care on track
  5. Partner with the Director of Nursing to drive performance and outcomes

What You’ll Do

  1. Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and Med Techs
  2. Conduct rounds to monitor care quality and address issues immediately
  3. Coordinate admissions—ensure rooms, staff, and care plans are ready
  4. Step in to resolve clinical and staffing challenges on the spot
  5. Assist with scheduling coverage and managing call-ins
  6. Complete documentation, reports, and compliance audits
  7. Help coach, evaluate, and develop nursing staff
  8. Collaborate with therapy, activities, and other departments for total resident care

What You Bring

  1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  2. 3+ years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience
  3. Background in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital setting
  4. Strong clinical judgment and ability to make independent decisions
  5. Confidence leading a team and holding people accountable
  6. Solid documentation and communication skills
  7. Comfortable with EMR/EHR systems
