Industrial Technician
Overview
Join our dynamic team at HYCO in Arab, AL, as a Repair and Service Industrial Technician! We are looking for a skilled technician who is passionate about maintaining and repairing industrial equipment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all service and repair activities accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Capable of pushing, pulling and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in shop environment - continuous exposure to potentially hazardous metal working machinery & equipment, loud noises, dust, mist, oils & solvents.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent and a one-year certificate or an associate degree in an industrial tech college program.
- Two years of proven experience as an industrial technician or similar role; previous repair center or NOC experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpretreadings from mics, calipers and other gauges aas well as
technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
