Electrical Designer - AL

Genesis Technical is seeking an Electrical Designer for our client in Birmingham, AL.The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience in heavy industrial projects and can perform design engineering in an EPC environment.

Direct Hire, Contract to direct or Contract based on employee's preference.
  • Long-term
  • Rate based on experience
  • In-office
  • OT probable depending on project
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical design with an emphasis in consulting engineering
  • Knowledgeable in the application of the National Electrical code
  • Experience on heavy industrial projects
  • Design and check drawing installation packages consisting of single line diagrams, motor elementary diagrams, interconnection diagrams, power plans, cable schedules and lighting and grounding plans.
  • Candidates will be working with multi-discipline teams and interacting with clients.
  • Candidates will be advanced in leadership roles based on ability and work ethic.
