Make a meaningful impact as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a supportive educational environment, covering a maternity leave position for the first semester of the school year. This long-term substitute role offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated professionals and provide evidence-based behavioral services to students, ensuring continuity of care and growth.
This contract position requires full-time hours—35 hours per week, Monday through Friday—allowing you to fully engage with students and staff while maintaining work-life balance.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred.
- Skilled in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Ability to provide ongoing training and support to staff and families.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Capacity to adapt quickly in a substitute/long-term placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students.
- Monitor student progress, adjust strategies as needed, and document outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families to support student success.
- Deliver professional development to staff on behavior strategies and interventions.
- Maintain all required records in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
- Provide crisis intervention support and proactive behavioral management as needed.
