As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Dothan, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and team-focused culture built on integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for issues such as shoplifting concerns, unauthorized access, loitering, and/or other policy violations, and communicate with store leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
