Field Service Technician – Industrial Experience | Direct Hire | Company Vehicle | Full Benefits

Established industrial service company seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial air compressor systems and related equipment throughout the Gulf Coast region.

This position is ideal for a technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working independently and takes pride in solving problems in the field.

Schedule
Monday – Friday
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Rotating On-Call Schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on industrial air compressors and related equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, P&ID drawings, and equipment specifications
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, control adjustments, and routine maintenance procedures
• Remove, rig, install, and align motors, compressors, and associated equipment
• Complete service reports and required documentation accurately and timely
• Provide professional customer service while working at client facilities
• Respond to emergency service calls during scheduled on-call rotations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance or field service experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on air compressors, rotating equipment, pumps, motors, or similar industrial machinery preferred
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Experience using multimeters, amp meters, infrared meters, and vibration analysis equipment
• Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Must own a basic set of technician tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and work in industrial environments
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Air compressor experience
• EPA Certification
• TWIC Card
• Industrial electrical experience
