This initiative is part of an enterprise-wide effort focused on driving product cost savings through design modifications and component exchange programs while navigating a complex, global matrix organization. The project has completed feasibility and scoping phases and now requires a strong PM to lead the implementation and delivery phase. _We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ _Rate: $80 - $90 / hr. w2_ **Responsibilities:** - Partner with cross-functional teams across R&D, Operations, and Regulatory to deliver product design changes that achieve measurable cost savings. - Collaborate with manufacturing sites in San Diego and Tijuana to ensure implementation and transfer of changes into production. - Own project schedules, deliverables, risk management, and communication across all stakeholders. - Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure documentation and submission readiness for implemented changes. - Provide structure and project oversight to ensure milestones and business targets are met. **Experience Requirements:** - 2-5 years of Project Management experience within the Medical Device industry. - R&D sustaining engineering experience, but also open to NPD as well. - Strong understanding of design controls, R&D processes, and industry regulatory standards. - Exposure to Regulatory submissions and Operations/manufacturing interfaces. - Background in Engineering. Preferably Mechanical or Systems Engineering. - Demonstrated success cross-functional teams collaboration in a matrixed environment. **Education Requirements:** Engineering degree _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
