Overview:

Signalink, a rapidly growing small company, is currently seeking an Aviation Subject Matter Expert to join the team as an integral member of a group of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support on a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide expert guidance on aviation-related projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with defense contractors, military personnel, and internal teams to ensure project objectives align with policies and goals.
• Act as a mentor and resource for team members, sharing your expertise to enhance the overall knowledge base of the organization.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, showcasing your knowledge and expertise to build strong and lasting relationships.
• Lead the development of strategies and solutions that address the unique needs and challenges of aviation programs, including technology integration, safety management, and maintenance practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in aviation, with significant expertise in DoD and Army Aviation operations, regulations, and project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the secret level
• Ability to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Experience and Knowledge:

• Proven track record of successful project management in the aviation sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as they relate to aviation projects.
