Mig Welder
We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to support the fabrication of large structural components used in bridge and barge construction. This role is perfect for welders who thrive in a rugged, industrial environment and take pride in producing strong, high-quality structural welds.
Responsibilities- Perform MIG welding on large structural and stainless steel components for bridge and barge construction.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Execute flux core welding on structural and stainless steel.
- Utilize hand tools and tape measures effectively for precise measurements.
- Engage in grinding and arc welding tasks as required.
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and work off blueprints.
- Experience with flux core welding on structural and stainless steel.
- Competence in using hand tools and tape measures for accurate measurements.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and structural steel.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Work EnvironmentThis role is set in a heavy-industrial welding environment involving large steel components, heat, sparks, and welding equipment. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times. Candidates should be comfortable with physically demanding work and industrial conditions.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Russellville, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
