Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher as required for AL SLPA certification
- Active ASHA Certification
- Valid ABSESPA Licensure (Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology)
- Professional Educator Certification
- Any additional necessary state licensure/fingerprinting for Alabama
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under supervision of an SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student IEPs and communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as mandated by district and state
- Adapt service delivery based on changing caseloads and school locations
