Are you a skilled automotive technician looking for something beyond the traditional shop? Long-Lewis of Hoover is hiring Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing team — a unique opportunity to bring top-quality service directly to our customers at their homes or workplaces.

This full-time role offers competitive flat rate pay of $20–$45 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments over time, and the opportunity to take your career on the road while working within a supportive, high-performing team environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Travel to customer locations (homes/worksites) in a fully equipped company vehicle
• Diagnose and perform on-site repairs or maintenance services
• Advise customers on next steps for more complex issues, if needed
• Work on a wide range of makes and models
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer satisfaction
• Represent the Long-Lewis brand with pride and excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in dealership or high-volume repair facilities
• Strong knowledge of various makes and models with solid diagnostic ability
• ASE Certification preferred
• Ford and/or Lincoln FSA Certifications are a plus
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary automotive training is a plus
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and communicate effectively
• Professional appearance, customer-first mindset, and a strong work ethic
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of an on-site, hands-on role

Compensation:

• $20–$45 per hour (Flat Rate) , based on experience and certifications
• $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in scheduled installments over time
