Role Description This is a part-time contract position for an Injury Prevention Specialist, based on-site at a large manufacturing facility near Birmingham, Alabama. Our early intervention system encourages employees to report fatigue, discomfort, or soreness early. As an Injury Prevention Specialist, you will:

• Conduct rapid assessments of workers and their workstations.
• Identify and address ergonomic risk factors.
• Mitigate human risk factors by promoting healthier practices, including improved strength, mobility, posture, agility, cardiovascular fitness, and overall wellness.
• Enhance employees’ work capacity while reducing ergonomic risks.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical experience with musculoskeletal disorders.
• Degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, kinesiology, exercise physiology, or athletic training.
• Advanced analytical skills to identify and evaluate ergonomic risk factors in workplace settings.
• Proven experience in task analysis and implementing ergonomic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Proficient using MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
