NDE TECHNICIAN II
- Execute nondestructive testing operations and document results in accordance with established procedures
- Review NDT procedures to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications
- Ensure safe usage, handling, and control of radioactive equipment and personnel
- Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation and maintain required NDT records for certification and regulatory compliance
- Evaluate inspection findings and provide initial recommendations for corrective actions
- Participate in root cause analysis and lessons learned reviews to enhance processes and prevent recurrence of issues
- Actively support safety initiatives and participate in incident investigations
- Set up, standardize, and maintain the functionality of nondestructive testing equipment
- Interpret nondestructive examination results and clearly report findings
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess and maintain SNT-TC-1A NDE Level II Certification on RT, VT, MT, LP
- Advanced knowledge of quality terms, definitions, and concepts
- Understanding of types of measurement, measurement terminology, and the different types of measurement scales
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- 40-hour Radiation Safety Training Certificate / State Card
- Professional Accreditation / Certification: RSO, ASQ CQI, and/or CQT, AWS CWI
- ASNT 9712 or ISO 9712 RT, PT certified
