What You'll DoAs a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll become a trusted advisor to your clients by helping them understand their insurance coverage and making sure their protection keeps pace with life's changes.
Responsibilities include:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
Assist clients with policy changes, questions, billing, and claims
Conduct proactive annual insurance reviews
Identify opportunities to improve clients' protection through coverage recommendations
Cross-sell additional products when appropriate
Market policies with multiple insurance carriers to find competitive coverage and pricing
Review renewals and premium changes
Support agency producers with new business and existing client needs
Process endorsements, policy changes, and applications accurately
Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, and team members
Maintain accurate client records within our agency management system
Loves helping people
Enjoys building lasting relationships
Has exceptional communication skills
Is highly organized and detail-oriented
Takes initiative and follows through
Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Learns new technology quickly
Has a positive attitude and works well with a team
Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism in every interaction
Preferred
Active Alabama Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Previous insurance, banking, financial services, or customer service experience
Strong computer and technology skills
High school diploma required; additional education is a plus
