Holley Tuning’s European Vehicle Technician is a highly experienced mechanic with strong technical and diagnostic skills. Successful individuals can work independently at any level of vehicle diagnostics, repair, and performance modification installation.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product development team to identify challenges and improvements to new products.
• Communicate key information clearly to influence technical decisions. 
• Remove necessary vehicle components and install sensors to prepare for engine calibration.
• Use OEM VAG and BMW tools to diagnose and repair all vehicle issues.
• Work closely with engineers and quality team members to influence product development and solve problems.
• Remove and install prototype or sample vehicle components and provide feedback on installation.
• Remain up to date on new vehicle technology by studying Self Study Guides of key VAG and BMW models.
• Perform routine maintenance of development vehicles in the fleet included but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, alignments.
• Manage and prioritize daily tasks.
• Train other technicians as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Experience as a technician for a VAG and/or BMW dealership.
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools.(e.g., ODIS, ISTA, PIWIS, VCDS)

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• ASE certification
• OEM specific certifications
• Associates degree or higher in related field
• Experience with racing and/or performance automotive aftermarket parts
• Possess basic tools(specialty tools are provided)
• Experience building wiring harnesses
• Automotive detailing experience is a plus
