A leading global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Plant Cost Analyst to join its operations leadership team at a key production facility in Scottsboro, Alabama.

This is a high-impact operational finance role where you will partner directly with plant leadership to drive financial visibility, improve cost structures, and support strategic decision-making across manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do:

Drive Operational Performance

• Serve as a key financial partner to plant leadership , providing actionable financial insights to guide operational decisions.

• Conduct deep-dive analysis into operational performance to identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities .

• Develop and track plant-level KPIs to support operational accountability and performance improvement.

Own Financial Execution

• Lead capital and expense tracking to ensure projects remain aligned with financial targets.

• Analyze facility spending and identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved financial discipline .

• Support monthly forecasting, annual operating plans, and variance analysis .

• Manage month-end and year-end financial close activities .

Strengthen Cost Structure

• Support development and optimization of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and cost standards .

• Partner with operations teams to drive cost-reduction initiatives, productivity gains, and working capital improvements .

• Support procurement decisions that influence cost and operational performance.

Improve Financial Processes & Systems

• Design and enhance financial processes that support scalable manufacturing operations .

• Partner with IT and business systems teams to support SAP integration and data workflows .

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, financial transparency, and operational decision support.

Grow Your Impact

After establishing success at the Scottsboro facility, the role will expand to support additional manufacturing sites , providing an opportunity to grow into a multi-plant operational finance leader .

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

• 7+ years of finance experience , including manufacturing cost accounting

• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into operational insight

• Experience with SAP or ERP systems

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

• Ability to partner effectively with both finance and operations leaders

• Comfortable working in both office and plant-floor environments
