We are currently seeking an Activity Director for our Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Cente r in Mobile, Alabama. The Director will plan, coordinate, implement and execute all activity programs for all residents in the facility. The successful candidate will lead group activities, assist residents to and from activities, ensure that the spiritual development, emotions, recreational and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis. If you have a positive attitude, a passion to serve in a skilled nursing facility, this is the opportunity for you, join our team!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED, completion of secondary education, minimum of one year work experience in related field
- Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must speak and understand English
- Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly, maintain resident confidentiality, treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
