Inventory Control Coordinator

:

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting inventory audits to ensure data integrity. This role helps optimize inventory processes, reduces variances, and ensures materials are available to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure data accuracy in the inventory management system.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve variances through root cause analysis.
• Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Coordinate the receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory flow.
• Create and maintain reports related to inventory status, movements, and KPIs.
• Support process improvement initiatives to streamline inventory procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with barcode/RFID scanning systems.
• Knowledge of lean or Six Sigma inventory principles.
• Forklift certification (if applicable).

Working Conditions:

• Work may be performed in a warehouse, production, or office environment.
• May require standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating warehouse equipment.
