Northview Health Services – Mobile, AL
Help Ensure Exceptional Care, 24 Hours a Day
Northview Health Services is seeking a dependable, organized, and solution-focused On-Call Scheduler to support our 24-hour residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our homes remain safely staffed so the individuals we support continue receiving high-quality care. - Primary hours: 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Weekend coverage required
- Additional on-call support as needed
- Coordinate staffing for multiple 24-hour residential homes.
- Fill open shifts by contacting available employees.
- Respond promptly to call-offs and staffing emergencies.
- Maintain staffing schedules and ensure minimum staffing requirements are met.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, managers, and direct support staff.
- Document scheduling changes accurately.
- Assist with after-hours staffing issues while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in fast-paced situations.
- Experience with scheduling, staffing coordination, healthcare, or human services preferred.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn scheduling software.
- Reliable internet and phone access while on duty.
- Must be dependable and able to work independently.
