Superba Operator - 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

Safely operate heatset machinery to meet and exceed quality, production, and efficiency goals. Function as a primary source of finish application in yarn conversion resulting in resistance to wear, dimensional stability and its design meeting the specifications of the product.

Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards. Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs. Selects and stages tubes for winder operation. Doffs off finished yarn packages as required. Maintains daily production records. Run both creeling and winding side when needed. Uses black light to check there are no mixes. Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision. Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies. Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary. Perform other tasks assigned by management.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of all required on the job training. Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training. Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Operate in a team-based environment. Basic math skills. Attention to details. Deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations. Multi-tasking skills. Work in a fast-paced environment.

May require bending, squatting, climbing, and other physical movement for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Working around moving equipment and in an industrial environment. Working in an environment where there may be regular exposure to chemicals, noise from machinery, dust, fumes, and variable temperatures.
